Esdevium

The reality is much simpler – in the 1970′s Dan Steel’s parents opened a shop in Aldershot. They used their initials to trade as SD & VM Steel. It was Games Workshop who shortened this to SDVM (pronounced “Esdevium”).

Since then Esdevium has become the leading wholesaler/distributor of collectable card games, roleplaying and leisure products to the hobby and mass market within the United Kingdom and Europe. Which has brought us the status of the second largest hobby distributor in the world.
