The original Wingspan game is a well-loved engine building game released in 2019. You will act as a bird enthusiast focused on discovering and attracting birds to your own wildlife preserves. Designer of the game, Elizabeth Hargrave, noticed there were board games with great mechanics but none in a theme she was interested in - so she made her own inspired by her love of nature.
The Wingspan board game is a winner of the prestigious Kennerspiel des Jahres award and is praised by board game enthusiasts for its stunning visuals. The game features 170 beautifully illustrated birds, adding to the enjoyment of playing.

With the popularity of Wingspan, Stonemaier Games has released great expansions, allowing players to explore birds from across the world. You could discover magnificent birds in the Wingspan Oceania Expansion, or Asia and European variations.
